Vacation home and caretaker’s house between a river and the coast of the Osa Peninsula. Two-story structure in Guadua bamboo, green roof, self-generation of photovoltaic renewable energy and solar water heater; regenerative landscaping. Teak finishes, porcelain tile, local art paintings. Cross ventilation, no A/C. Winner of the National Architecture Award for its innovation and sustainability concepts.
