Architecture work in progress
The construction process is difficult but fascinating, each stage is a story in itself: foundation, structure, roof, electromechanical installations, walls, and finishes. There are those who don’t want to know much, there are others who love to be involved in the process, and those who have their own particular subject to which they pay special attention. Everything is possible, but also costly, and requires a time of execution, which is always longer than expected, on the one hand because anxiety plays an important role, and on the other, for various reasons, such as delays due to weather (rain is not the best friend of a work in progress), availability of materials and transportation, changes in design, or something unexpected: a storm, or a pandemic for example.
At the end, the process of a work is hard, but exciting and with many instances of research and creativity; you have to enjoy the process of materialization of the design and construction, to finally have a work, which is not static, but dynamic, as it is inhabited, and is subject to its environmental and social environment, which transforms it, sometimes very little, and sometimes considerably.
