La Ecohacienda es un proyecto para una pareja practicantes de yoga, con intención de retirarse a descansar, invitar amigos y parientes a vivir en armonía con la naturaleza. La propiedad es entre dos ríos y cuenta con caudal de agua abundante, vistas lejanas del mar, cobertura boscosa con arboles viejos, hermosos, otros frutales, y mucha biodiversidad.

La propiedad esta 1.2 kms rio arriba, por dicha se cuenta con un espacio disponible abajo para hacer campamento y talleres. No hay camino, solo una servidumbre. Toca cruzar el rio, maravilloso que se crece durante el invierno, cuatro veces.

Existen claros realizados anteriormente por sus antiguos dueños, espacios donde aprovechamos para colocar las estructuras.

Las decisiones comenzaron por el sistema constructivo y los materiales, procesos que desde un inicio señalan la dirección a seguir: estructuras livianas, transportables, con materiales locales, de bajo mantenimiento, producción alternativa de energía con fuentes renovables.

Separamos el programa en estructuras independientes al cual se llega por senderos; así haciendo un conjunto de más de doce volúmenes que están colocados delicadamente en los claros existentes. Algunos son dormitorios, otros cocina, piscina, estudio, yoga pagoda, servicio, bodega, etc. La mayor parte de la finca será destinada a la conservación.

The Ecohacienda is a project for a couple of yoga practitioners, with the intention to retire to rest, invite friends and relatives to live in harmony with nature. The property is between two rivers and counts on abundant water volume, distant views of the sea, forest cover with old, beautiful trees, other fruit trees, and much biodiversity.

The property is 1,2 kms up river, fortunately we counted on an available space below to make camping and shops.  There is no road up, just  a single servitude.  You must cross a wonderful river that grows during the winter, four times.

The existing clearances made by its previous owners are the spaces we took advantage of to place the structures.

The decisions began by the constructive system and the materials, processes that from a beginning indicate the direction to follow: light, transportable structures, with local materials, of low maintenance, alternative production of energy with renewable sources.

We separated the program into independent structures which are arrived by footpaths; thus making a set of more than twelve volumes that are placed delicately in the existing clearances. Some structures are bedrooms, others a kitchen, a swimming pool, study, yoga pagoda, service, warehouse, etc. Most of the property will be destined to the conservation.
